HENDRICKS CHAPEL

You can either walk or drive to the ceremony at Hendricks Chapel. Below are directions for whichever you prefer! 


WALKING

We recommend taking the scenic route and walking to the chapel - it's only about five minutes from The Sheraton and the directions are pretty straight forward! Following the map below: 

  • Exit the hotel and immediately turn left
  • Walk straight (slightly uphill) until you reach the quad
  • The Chapel will be to your right!

DRIVING

If you prefer to drive, there is a free parking lot conveniently located directly behind the chapel. As you will notice when you get to Syracuse, there is some construction going on that affects the direction in which you would normally drive. In order to get there, you have to drive in a bit of a roundabout direction. Following the map below, I have detailed exactly how to get there from The Sheraton:

  1. Exit The Sheraton parking garage and immediately turn left onto Waverly Ave. 
  2. At the second light, turn left onto Walnut Ave. 
  3. At the second light, turn left onto Harrison St. 
  4. Drive pass the first light (University) and the second light (S. Crouse)
  5. At the third light, turn left onto Irving Ave. 
  6. At the second light, turn left onto Waverly 
  7. Make your first right onto the unmarked road (Crouse) at which point it will look like you're driving into "campus"
  8. Drive straight through the security guard booth (it will be unattended) to stop sign
  9. Continue driving straight on the road which will curve up into the main campus area
  10. When you reach the second security guard booth (also unattended) straight ahead you will see the side of Hendricks chapel
  11. Turn right into the parking lot 
  12. Walk to front of chapel!
